At P.A.T.C.H., we are excited to introduce a new feature on our website to keep our supporters, partners, and followers informed about the work we are doing in our communities. Through this newsletter, we will share upcoming events, recognize outstanding individuals, highlight community partnerships, and provide updates on the programs and initiatives we are involved in.
We believe it is important to keep everyone connected because your support helps strengthen our mission. We hope this newsletter becomes a meaningful way to celebrate positive change and keep you informed throughout the year.
P.A.T.C.H. is honored to team up with SouthSide Community Development & Housing Corporation to sponsor the SouthSide Legacy Girls Flag Football team in Emporia, Virginia.
To kick off our first newsletter, we would like to recognize Mrs. Jemmalyn Hewlett of Pool Side Cooking for her dedication to making a positive impact in the community. Mrs. Hewlett invited P.A.T.C.H. to participate in her Stop the Violence event at Mount Trashmore in Virginia Beach.
Representing P.A.T.C.H. was our spokesman, Mr. T. Courtney, who did an outstanding job engaging with attendees and representing our organization. By all accounts, the event was a tremendous success, bringing people together to promote peace, unity, and community awareness.
Mrs. Jemmalyn, thank you for everything you and your team continue to do. Your commitment to serving the community is truly appreciated, and we wish you continued success.
We would also like to give a huge shout-out to the Legacy Girls Flag Football Team. P.A.T.C.H. is proud to be one of the sponsors of this exciting program that provides opportunities for young women to grow through athletics, teamwork, and leadership.
We have great confidence in the coaching staff and believe they will put these young athletes in a position to succeed both on and off the field. We look forward to following the team’s progress and will share more updates once the season gets underway.
On August 15, the 3rd Annual Nubian Fest will be held in Norfolk, Virginia. If all goes as planned, P.A.T.C.H. will be there as a vendor to support this wonderful community event. We will continue to keep everyone updated as plans are finalized.
We are also preparing for our Back-to-School Community Event, which we hope to host in the Richmond, Virginia area this August. We are currently finalizing the details and will share more information as soon as everything is confirmed. We appreciate your patience and look forward to serving students and families in our community.
We hope you enjoy this new feature on our website and that it helps you feel more informed, connected, and inspired by the work being done through P.A.T.C.H. While this is our inaugural newsletter, we plan to continue publishing regular updates so you can stay connected with our mission, our events, and the people making a difference in our communities.
From everyone at P.A.T.C.H., thank you for your continued support.
Take care, stay safe, and together, let’s help our kids P.A.T.C.H. It Up Together!
